This is a wonderful adventure, learning about this amazing breed, how it was brought to the US, and how it was developed in the UK. We saw many horses, babies, donkeys, exotic birds in a beautiful setting.

Taylor’s easy-going personality was a plus for the tour. The horses were amazing. Patience, the donkey, was a great hit with all of us as he broke out of his pen and accompanied us around the farm. it was an unexpected treat for us.

What a charming morning! These Gypsy Vanner horses are incredibly beautiful! They are very friendly and clearly are expertly cared for with a great deal of affection. They love to be petted and will happily approach visitors to pose for pictures. The two hour experience is roughly divided in half with the first half being a very informative and entertaining talk about the history of the breed and how they came to be in the Florida. We were very fortunate in that the Farm's owner graciously gave the presentation himself! The second half of the tour consisted of a leisurely stroll through through the large corrals. We even got to pet the foals! Our charming guide answered our many questions and introduced us to the personalities of each of the horses. There were only (20) guests on the (40) acre farm - just lovely! The tour is perfectly suited to seniors. Chairs are provided for the talk. The walk was very easy but for those with mobility concerns several of the corrals are very close to the barn and there are chairs outside to sit out part of the walk if need be. The talk's educational content was primarily geared to an adult audience - it would not be suitable for very small children. Also (just to manage expectations for younger guests), these horses are not available for riding. The Farm does support school programs for the very young - I do not know if they have tours that are suited to younger families at this time (should have asked!). Logistics of getting there from the Disney area are quite easy - the drive was about 90 minutes on the Turnpike. The tour ended closer to 12:30 which was perfect for checking out the many local restaurants for lunch in nearby Ocala. It made for a delightful day!

If you are looking for a unique experience in the Ocala, FL area, this is it! Be sure to include the history/informative part prior to the walking tour. I would go back again...and again...and again, well you get the point! The horses are magnificent, the mules friendly and the owners make you feel at home!

Ages 58 to 85 ,we were the first ones to fly in for a family event . Trip advisor search for fun things to do lead me to Gypsy Gold tour. It was wonderful!!. The owners, Dennis and Erin were so welcoming and accommodating to our group . I was expecting beautiful horses and was not disappointed!, but was not prepared for the narrative Dennis provided …. Fascinating and educational . I highly recommend!

We did the 2 hour tour, which included a 1 hour overview of the history of the Gypsy Vanner horse. The history was very interesting to hear about and the tour of the farm was very enjoyable. Would highly recommend doing the tour that includes the history/overview of the horses. There were many different areas that we toured with an abundant amount of beautiful horses to get up close and personal with. We were allowed to pet the horses and the gal giving the tour was very informative and knowledgeable. There was Macaw's and Parrots at the ranch also. They would sing us a song and talk to us. That was fun. Beautiful property, beautiful horses, and beautiful birds. Very nice experience.

I was running late and the guide called me to make sure I was going to join the group. So glad I found this horse farm on this site. I bonded with some of the older horses and finally figured out how to feed one of them carrots. The guide was informative and it is evident she enjoys her job. If visiting Ocala, it’s worth the time.
