Manageable size of 9 in our group. Our Guide ,Suzette ,was very nice ,easy and clear to understand. Told many interesting facts of history of the food we ate & places we were. Walking pace was just right. Good sampling of the best of the traditional food. There were many steps to go up in two locations. This should be made known when making reservations.

Tisha is fantastic! Her stories of the Cajun and creole foods were very informative. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable.

Fantastic tour with Kim! I’ve been to New Orleans many times, but had never done a tour before this trip. Kim is knowledgeable, engaging, and a wonderful storyteller. He shared so many insights about the history of the French Quarter and New Orleans food and drinking culture. It was a delightful three hours that sped by entirely too quickly. Definitely a must-do tour on your next visit to the Big Easy!

I did the tour this week with Tastebud tours with Kim. As a newbie to New Orleans, I had no idea on the history of the cusine of the South and I truely enjoyed the detailed history of some of the dishes I sampled. Kim who is a former chef, gave a detailed explanation of everything we sampled on the tour and even a tour of the French quarter. Truely a unique tour and highly recommended for newbies to New Orleans.

The tour was informative and the food was ok, but no where near what was expected. The samplings were mostly small and the cheapest items on the menu. We never received any seafood whatsoever, which is a large part of what New Orleans is famous for. Our guide was also not the most friendly and came off extremely condescending.

Laura_M

Great food and overview of New Orleans. Tour guide was very nice however needed to give group a little downtime to get a drink at the restaurants. I think he felt like he needed to fill up our time with his personal stories.

We enjoyed our food tour immensely with Chef Kim!! He was Informative and knowledeable accommodating the group. Only wish the first stop wasn’t 8 blocks away, in the heat. The other stops were nearby each other. We were a group of 8 and enjoyed the foods of New Orleans. Thanks Kim!!!!
