Great wine bar, room downstairs, small group with a great host and guide, Jasmine. So much to talk about, did a great job answering our questions. The food was wonderful and the wines were delicious! We have been to wine tastings before, but this one was especially informative with things we can use in the everyday to understand labels, know how to store, what to serve with what.... A great experience!

This dinner and wine tasting was excellent. We have been to many wine tastings, so were not expecting to learn a whole lot -- but we were wrong! Clement, the head sommelier at the Cordon Bleu, did an excellent presentation! We learned a great deal and had some excellent wines. The dinner was also very good. It was a very enjoyable evening! Highly recommend!

My wife and I didn’t know what to expect when we got to this dinner and wine tasting. We got to the bar early and got to enjoy a couple of wines to pass the time after a long day of walking around Paris. This dinner and wine tasting was a really good way to end our exploration of Paris! We enjoyed Gerald’s (The Sommelier) walk thru the various wines and their tastes. We particularly enjoyed the fortified wine used for dessert (Risevalt 17) since it was the first time we’ve had French fortified wine. The food was decent, especially the duck foie gras appetizer.

We arrived 8 minutes late (our fault one of the subway lines was not running) to be told that they had already served the starters to the group and we could not join and had to have dinner in the bar. For us the whole reason for booking was the experience with the sommelier so we told them we did not mind missing the starter as the experience was to learn about wine. After a 5 minute discussion between the staff they reluctantly said we could join to find the starter had NOT been served and the introductions had only just taken place so in fact if we had joined when we got there don’t think we would have missed anything. The whole evening from there was spoiled by being lied to. The food and wines were amazing and the sommelier very knowledgeable and did not mind answering questions. We received a glass of Champagne, a white wine with the foie gras, red with the steak and a sweet wine with the desert but no digestif as mentioned on the viator booking. Overall food and wine good but left feeling uncomfortable at how we were treated upon arrival.

My boyfriend and I went to a wine tasting with a 3-course dinner and we loved it. I told them beforehand that I am vegetarian, and they made a lovely meal for me as well. While the others had foie gras for startere and a strak for dinner, I was served burrata and beetroot ravioli. Great sommelier, good conservations, amazing wines and tasting in a small group (8 people in total) in a lovely room. Amazing experience!

Though there was a booking issue (we were 9 people, not the 4 the restaurant thought were coming) they rolled with it, didn't blink in accommodating the extra folk, food was delicious. the highlight, however, was Annabel and the excellent evening she conducted for us, the information shared, the love she has for what she does and the people at her table, her knowledge of the wines we had, the questions she answered. We had such a good time, we returned to the first floor bar and had her choose the next bottle of wine for us.

Magnificent meal with beautifully, expertly paired wine hosted by a wonderfully friendly and incredibly knowledgeable sommelier in lovely private wine library. I only wished I had booked this sooner so I could also have arranged to take their Champagne tour. Will return!

When planning our trip, we wanted to book a french experience such as a cooking class or wine tasting. We landed on O Chateau and thought it would be right up our alley. We did a wine tasting with dinner pairing in a private wine cellar. We were with 10 other individuals from all over the world. Our sommeliar ( I wish I could remember his name) WAS AWESOME. He was so knowledgeable about not only french wines but wines around the world. He was actually coming to the US to our home town to taste wines in our wine country in NY. The food was incredible, the wines were delicious but most importantly, we learned so much about the strong culture of wine in France. After our meals, our sommeliar filled our glasses one last time and left our group to chat and share stories about our travels. We left with an incredible experience we will never forget!
