Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Mole National Park, head south on the main road towards Vieri. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Siiru Dam/Reservoir on your left. Turn left onto the dirt road and follow it for approximately 1 kilometer until you reach the reservoir. Please note that the road may be rough, so a four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

Public Transportation
From the Mole National Park Visitor Center, you can take a shared taxi or local bus heading towards Vieri. The fare is usually around 10 GHS per person. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the turnoff for Siiru Dam/Reservoir. Once you reach the fork in the road approximately 15 kilometers from the park, you may need to walk the last 5 kilometers along the dirt road to reach the reservoir. Alternatively, you may find a local motorbike taxi (okada) to take you the remaining distance for about 20 GHS.
