Walking
From the center of Nafplio, start at Syntagma Square. Head northeast towards the harbor, following the signs for the beach. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. Continue straight onto the coastal path (Epar.Od. Nafpliou - Neas Kiou) that leads out of Nafplio. Keep following this path for approximately 2.5 kilometers. As you walk, enjoy the coastal views and keep an eye out for birdlife. Eventually, you will arrive at the Naplio-Nea Kios Wetlands, which will be on your left.

Public Bus
From Nafplio's central bus station, take the local bus towards Nea Kios. The bus departs regularly, so check the schedule posted at the station. The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Nea Kios, disembark at the bus stop closest to the wetlands. From there, it's a short walk (about 500 meters) towards the wetlands. Follow the path leading towards the area marked by signs for Naplio-Nea Kios Wetlands.

Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various shops in Nafplio. Start at the central square and head towards the coastal road. Follow the same route as if you were walking, but on a bicycle. The ride to the Naplio-Nea Kios Wetlands is approximately 2.5 kilometers and should take about 10-15 minutes. Ensure to stay on the designated paths and enjoy the scenery along the way.
