From Nafplio, head to the main bus station located at Fillelinon 5. Purchase a ticket for the bus to Mycenae, which departs regularly. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mycenae bus station, exit the station and follow the signposts directing you towards the archaeological site. You will walk approximately 2 km uphill to reach the Treasury of Atreus, which is well-marked and should take around 25-30 minutes on foot.

Walking
If you prefer to walk from Nafplio to the Tomb of Agamemnon, start at the central square (Syntagma Square) and head towards the harbor. Walk along the waterfront and continue on the main road (EO Nafpliou - Mykineon) leading out of the town. After about 10 km, you will reach the site of the Tomb of Agamemnon, which is located just outside of Mycenae. This journey will take roughly 2-3 hours, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
