If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), exit the cathedral and head south on Via della Canonica. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo. From there, turn left onto Via dei Calzaiuoli, a pedestrian street. Walk straight until you reach Piazza della Signoria, where you will see the Palazzo Vecchio. Continue down Via dei Gondi until you reach Piazza San Lorenzo. The Laurentian Medici Library is located at Piazza di San Lorenzo, 9, just off the piazza.
