    If you are starting from Nara Park, head southeast towards the entrance of the park. Follow the path that leads you towards the Nara National Museum. Once you reach the museum, exit the museum grounds and turn left onto the main road, Sanjo-dori. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Takabatake-dori. Turn right onto Takabatake-dori and walk for about 10 minutes. You will see Shiga Naoya's Old Residence on your left at Takabatakecho, Nara, 630-8301.

    From Nara Station, take bus number 70 or 72 towards Takabatakecho. The bus ride takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Takabatakecho bus stop. After exiting the bus, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and Shiga Naoya's Old Residence will be on your right at Takabatakecho, Nara, 630-8301.

    From Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line towards Kyoto and get off at Kintetsu Nara Station. From Kintetsu Nara Station, exit and walk towards the main street, Sanjo-dori. Turn left on Sanjo-dori and walk until you reach Takabatake-dori. Turn right onto Takabatake-dori and continue walking for about 10 minutes.
