If you are driving a private car, head towards the Talek Gate from your current location in Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Talek Gate is located along the road that connects to the Olkiombo Airstrip. Make sure to follow the signs leading to Talek. Once you are on the H644 road, continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the gate. There may be a parking area available near the entrance.

Public Transportation (Matatus)
If you are using public transportation, look for matatus (shared minivans) that operate in the Maasai Mara area. Head towards the nearest matatu stage and ask for a ride to Talek. Be sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the Talek Gate or Olkiombo Airstrip. The cost for the ride should be around 200-500 Kenyan Shillings, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at the Olkiombo Airstrip area, walk towards the Talek Gate, which is just a short distance away.
