Turn left onto Avenida Dr. João Rato and continue straight until you reach the end of the avenue. Here, you will find a small park on your right. Continue through the park and follow the path leading to the main road, Alameda 1º de Maio. Cross the road carefully and follow the signs for 'Aqueduto do Convento de Cristo'. You will soon see the aqueduct in the distance as you walk along the path that leads into Vale dos Pegões. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes, and the aqueduct is located at Aqueduto do Convento de Cristo, Vale dos Pegões, 2305-203 Tomar.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle in Tomar and start from the Praça da República. Head south on Rua Serpa Pinto, then take a left onto Avenida Dr. João Rato.
