Car
If you are driving, start from the main entrance of Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park in Torla-Ordesa. Take the A-135 towards Torla. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the A-2611. Turn left onto A-2611 and follow the signs for Nacimiento del río Ara. After approximately 7 km, you will come to a parking area near the river. From the parking area, it is a short, well-marked walk to the Nacimiento del río Ara, which is approximately 1 km away.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Huesca to Torla-Ordesa. The bus service is operated by Alosa, and you can check the schedule online for departures. Once you arrive in Torla-Ordesa, you can either hike to Nacimiento del río Ara or take a local taxi to the parking area near the river. If you choose to hike, follow the same route as described for car drivers, as the trail is well-marked and leads directly to the site.

For those already within the park and looking to hike, start from the closest trailhead that leads towards Nacimiento del río Ara. The main trailhead is located near the parking area at the end of the A-2611. Follow the marked trail, which is approximately 1 km in length and offers stunning views of the surrounding nature as you approach the river's source.
