From the center of Soma, head towards the main road (Banjul-Soma Highway). Walk northwest along the road until you reach the junction with the road leading to Bakau. This is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Once you reach the junction, continue straight on this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Bakau.

As you enter the area, you may need to ask locals for specific directions, as the pool is situated slightly off the main road. It is located at F8GG+PXQ, which is a recognizable landmark. The total distance from the main road junction to Kachikally should take about another 15 minutes of walking.
