Walking through the very green, fragrant and peaceful Armstrong Woods. What a refreshing experience! The winery lunch was wonderful and the garden walk interesting. Good guides and very enjoyable fellow travelers. I’d love to do it all again in spring or fall.

If you want to go on a tour that feels like it’s your best friend that lives there is showing you their favorite spots and making sure you avoid the crowds do this. Phil was incredible and communicated the day before to make sure you were ready. He arrived promptly and kept an excellent pace throughout the entire day, it felt like such an intimate experience with us and the few other guests. He took us to the bridge with no crowds and we got incredible photos. I went on a tour with another company and it was crowded and not as beautiful ! Even the forest wasn’t as crowded. We got to stop at a local coffee shop to use the restroom and grab something to drink before our journey. Kendall Jackson was BEYOND INCREDIBLE. Phil knew so much about the property and we got to experience the culinary garden which was stunning. The meal was one of the best I’ve eaten had a great pace and the wines were excellent. The tour was both educational and an amazing time. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to get to experience a beautiful winery but also have a delicious meal. I’ve done a lot of wine tours and this was the best one I’ve ever gone on. Well worth the money. Truly an unforgettable experience.

We have a good time and our experience are wonderful, we like our guide David , he’s fun and very kind , it was so convenient to be pick up and drop off, David gave us enough time to stroll at the beautiful Redwood and enough time to enjoy our 5 course meal and 6 glass of different wines to enjoy, we are even able to enjoy the vineyard on a leisure walk, highly recommended

Sometimes, the best experiences come from unexpected changes, and our day with Best Bay Area Tours was a perfect example. Originally booked on a different tour, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the "Giant Redwoods Tour Including a 4-Course Winery Lunch" at no extra cost. And what an upgrade it was! The Guide - Steve Steve, our guide, was the epitome of hospitality and knowledge. While he didn't guide us through the redwoods, he more than made up for it at the Kendall Jackson Winery. His expertise on the various herbs and vegetables grown at the winery was enlightening. He had a knack for making everything sound fascinating, and his enthusiasm was infectious. The Redwoods The self-guided tour of the Giant Redwoods was a peaceful and awe-inspiring experience. The forest offered a serene backdrop for self-reflection, and the towering trees were a sight to behold. The freedom to explore at our own pace allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty surrounding us. Kendall Jackson Winery Lunch The 4-course lunch at Kendall Jackson was a culinary delight. Each course was thoughtfully paired with a wine that elevated the dining experience. Steve's commentary on the herbs and vegetables grown on-site added an educational layer to an already exquisite meal. Personalized Pick-up and Drop-off The convenience started with a personalized pick-up in a comfortable van at a location of our choosing. The driver's communication was excellent, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience from start to finish. At the end of a fulfilling day, we were dropped back at our preferred location, rounding off a perfect tour. The Group The small group setting facilitated easy bonding, and by the end of the tour, we felt like we had made a new set of friends. The intimate group size made the experience feel personalized and special. Conclusion Best Bay Area Tours exceeded our expectations in every way. From the unexpected upgrade to the exceptional guide and the luxurious lunch, every aspect of the tour was top-notch. The convenience of personalized pick-up and drop-off, coupled with excellent communication, made the day hassle-free. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour for anyone looking to experience the Bay Area's natural beauty and culinary excellence in a single, unforgettable day.

Armstrong Forest in the morning was amazing ! quiet, peaceful and serene with a few deer scampering about. The size of the trees-astounding! Like something from a movie. There is no way to understand how large they are with actually being there. The lunch at the winery was delicious-each course matched perfectly with a wine. very relaxing. the tour of the winery produce garden was much appreciated, too. our guide, Steve, was intuitive, personable and informative. He was a definite plus to the day. We enjoyed his themed music for the trip, too.

Our tour guide Steven was fantastic; a native San Fran with great history and other fun tidbits shared. Pickup was smooth, the other 12 people in the group were a blast. Armstrong Redwood Park was incredible and the 90’ time there was just right to explore and work up an appetite for the winery. Kendall Jackson wine tasting was truly amazing - single estate wines paired with a phenomenal 4 course meal. We would highly recommend this small group tour and having a chauffeured experience post wine appreciated! Steven made a special stop to take in the Golden Gate bridge on the ride home. Perfect day!

This was a great tour. We weren’t sure we wanted to do a full day tour because we had a concert to go to that night, but we are so glad we did. Steven, our guide, was not only an informative and full of facts guy (he is a SF native), he is also a most excellent driver! The van was super comfortable and the group we travelled with was very fun (several were going to the same concert we were). The Armstrong woods are so beautiful and majestic. As promised, it was not crowded at all, and the path through the forest was very easy, young and old alike can do it. Great phony ops! Then we totally switched gears and went to Kendall-Jackson winery for a lovely multi-course lunch with local ingredients (many directly from their expansive and gorgeous on-site garden). As self-proclaimed wine snots LOL, we were impressed with the wine! We were served wine you can only get on-site or through their wine club. Husband is not allowed to join any more wine clubs, but we did purchase several bottles to ship home. This was a reasonably priced tour considering what is included, and we highly recommended it.

Our tour guide Steven was great. Very communicative, he came over to pick us up right on time. He's a local so he knows the best spots and times to tour. The food and wine were excellent. We were lucky enough to share with other three couples with the best vibe ever. Totally worth it. Would do it again. Highly recommend it.
