Turn onto the dirt road leading to the caves. It is advisable to have a 4WD vehicle, especially if it has rained, as the dirt road can become muddy.

From the main bus terminal in Tilcara, take a local minibus heading towards Purmamarca. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Cuevas Del Wayra Y Aguirre. The fare is approximately 100 ARS. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. After getting off, you may need to walk a short distance along the dirt road to reach the caves.
