Walking
If you're starting from Cairns Central Shopping Centre, exit the shopping centre and head north on McLeod Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with the Esplanade. Turn right onto the Esplanade. Continue walking along the Esplanade for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach 52/54 Esplanade. The Cairns Esplanade Lagoon will be on your left-hand side, just before the large park area.

Public Transport (Bus)
You can catch a bus from various locations around Cairns to the Esplanade. Look for buses that stop at 'Cairns Esplanade' or 'Cairns City'. From the bus stop, head towards the Esplanade and walk a short distance to 52/54 Esplanade. The lagoon will be right in front of you, within walking distance from the bus stop.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Cairns. Head towards the Esplanade, following the bike paths along the waterfront. As you approach the lagoon, look for bike racks near 52/54 Esplanade where you can lock your bike. The lagoon will be directly in front of you.

If you're near the Cairns City area and prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber). Simply input 'Cairns Esplanade Lagoon, 52/54 Esplanade' as your destination. The driver will take you directly to the lagoon entrance, where you can enjoy the facilities.
