If you are traveling by car from any location in Hinchinbrook Island, you will first need to head towards the Bruce Highway (A1). From the Island, take the road towards Ingham. Once you reach the Bruce Highway, turn onto the A1 heading south towards Cardwell. Continue on the A1 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for the Girringun National Park. Follow the signs for Lumholtz and turn onto the Palmerston Highway. The park entrance is located at Lumholtz, QLD 4849. Please be mindful of road conditions, especially during the wet season.
