If you're starting from the Melbourne CBD, head to the nearest tram stop. You can catch Tram Route 86 or 96 from Bourke Street or Collins Street towards Docklands. Stay on the tram for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the 'Docklands' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel at The District Docklands, located at 101 Waterfront Way.

From Southern Cross Station, take a train on the City Loop towards Flinders Street. Get off at the next stop, which is Flagstaff Station. From Flagstaff Station, exit towards La Trobe Street. Walk straight along La Trobe Street until you reach the tram stop. From there, take Tram Route 86 or 96 towards Docklands. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Docklands' stop. Walk towards the waterfront, and you will find the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel at 101 Waterfront Way.
