From Derby, Western Australia, head east on the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1) for approximately 170 km. Continue until you reach the junction with the Gibb River Road. Turn left onto Gibb River Road and travel for about 85 km. You will see signs for Wunaamin-Miliwundi Ranges as you get closer. Note that Gibb River Road can be unsealed in parts, so a 4WD vehicle is recommended. There are no fuel stations along Gibb River Road, so ensure you have enough fuel before you start this leg of the journey.
