• Car

  To reach Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park by car, start by heading west from the town of Derby on the Great Northern Highway (National Route 1). Drive approximately 90 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the Gibb River Road. Turn onto Gibb River Road and continue for about 45 kilometers. You will see signs for Windjana Gorge; follow these signs to Fairfield-Leopold Downs Road. Drive another 20 kilometers until you arrive at the park's entrance. Be aware that Gibb River Road can be unsealed and may require a 4WD vehicle, especially during the wet season. There is a park entry fee of approximately AUD 15 per vehicle.
