To reach Pequenos Lençóis Maranhenses, head towards the town of Paulino Neves, the gateway to the area. From Barreirinhas, follow the MA-225 road north for approximately 50 kilometers, then take the turnoff to Paulino Neves. Be aware that the last stretch of road may be unpaved, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. Once in Paulino Neves, follow local signs towards Pequenos Lençóis Maranhenses. Car parking is generally free in the town, but there may be a small fee (around R$5-R$10) at the entrance to the park.
