Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Litochoro, head north towards the E65 road. Follow the trail signs directing you towards Mount Olympus. The walk is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, offering scenic views. Alternatively, from the Prionia car park, descend the E4 path towards Litochoro. Before the Old Monastery of Saint Dionysios, turn right at the clearings and a small hut. The path leads to the Enipeas waterfall. Cross the Enipeas via a wooden bridge and continue for 20 minutes towards Agios Spilaios. Free parking is available near the trailhead.

    From Litochoro, take a local bus towards the base of Mount Olympus, specifically to 'Prionia'. The bus ride is about 20-30 minutes, with a fare of approximately €2-3. From the Prionia bus stop, walk along the marked trail for about 30 minutes to reach the Sacred Cave.
