From the center of Seydisfjordur, head north on Hafnargata street. Continue walking until you reach the junction with the road leading out of town. At this junction, take a left onto the road heading toward the mountains. Follow this road as it gently ascends and curves. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a trailhead on your right marked with a sign for Búðareyrarfoss. Follow the trail, which is well-marked, for approximately 30 minutes. The trail will lead you directly to Búðareyrarfoss, where you can enjoy the scenic views of the waterfall.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the town center on Hafnargata street. Cycle north until you reach the junction with the road leading out of town. Turn left onto the road heading toward the mountains. The road is mostly flat but has some gentle inclines. After about 1.5 kilometers, look for the trailhead on the right marked for Búðareyrarfoss. Lock your bicycle here and follow the well-marked trail for about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall.
