The Healy Pass, originally known as the Kerry Pass, is a mountain road steeped in history and natural beauty. Later, it was renamed in honor of Timothy Michael Healy, the first Governor-General of the Irish Free State, a politician from County Cork who advocated for its improvement. The road, designated as R574, stretches for approximately 12 kilometers (7.89 miles) between Adrigole in County Cork and Lauragh in County Kerry.
