The Ewe Experience: Where Art and Nature Collide

Nestled in the lush landscape of Glengarriff, The Ewe Experience is more than just a garden; it's an immersive journey into a world where art and nature intertwine. Often called 'Ireland's Eden,' this innovative sculpture garden invites visitors of all ages to explore its themed gardens, each offering a unique sensory experience. As you wander along the one-kilometer trail, you'll discover a delightful mix of sculptures, installations, and interactive exhibits. The garden is thoughtfully designed to engage your imagination and spark your curiosity, with surprises around every corner. The soothing sounds of a cascading waterfall accompany you as you cross bridges and meander through hidden corners. The Ewe Experience is divided into four themed gardens: Falling Water Garden, Timeless Glen, Environmental Forest, and Valley of Eden. Each garden showcases a different aspect of nature and art, with sculptures crafted from recycled materials in the Environmental Forest and lush Jurassic planting in the Valley of Eden. Along the way, you'll encounter educational boards that provide insights into the environment, plants, animals, and local history. Originally the home of artist Sheena Wood and her husband Kurt Lyndorff, The Ewe Experience has evolved over three decades into an open-air natural history museum with a twist.
