Walking
From the center of Assisi, start at the Basilica di San Francesco. Head northwest on Via San Francesco toward Via Frate Elia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Seminario, where you will turn left. Follow Via del Seminario until you reach the end, then turn right onto Via Roma. Continue walking until you reach the main square, Piazza del Comune. From there, look for the signs for Perugia or the bus terminal. Take the bus from the Assisi bus station (located near the Piazza del Comune) to Perugia. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Perugia, disembark at the bus station and walk towards the city center. Continue onto Via della Repubblica until you reach Piazza Giordano Bruno, where the National Archaeological Museum of Umbria is located at number 10.

From Assisi, make your way to the bus stop at Piazza del Comune. Look for buses heading to Perugia; they are frequent and clearly marked. Purchase a ticket from the nearby ticket machines or the newsstand. Board the bus, and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Perugia bus station, exit and head towards the city center. Walk along Via della Repubblica, and you will eventually arrive at Piazza Giordano Bruno.
