Starting from the Assisi train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Giovanni Paolo II). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and follow this road as it leads into the heart of Assisi. As you walk, you will pass by several shops and cafes, giving you a taste of the local culture. Continue straight until you reach the Basilica di San Francesco, a major landmark. From there, take Via Santa Chiara which will lead you to the beautiful Piazza del Comune. Once you reach the piazza, look for the signs pointing towards Rocca Minore, which will direct you to Via Renzo Rosati. Follow this road until you reach Rocca Minore. The walk should take approximately 30-40 minutes.

If you're near the Piazza del Comune, you can catch a local bus that goes towards Rocca Minore. Look for the bus stop labeled 'Rocca Minore' and check the schedule for the next available bus. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride as you make your way to the Rocca Minore stop. The journey usually takes about 10-15 minutes. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Rocca Minore, which is a short walk away. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times to avoid long waits.

If you are starting from the Basilica di Santa Chiara, exit the church and walk towards the main road, Via San Francesco. Turn right and follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Renzo Rosati. Turn left onto Via Renzo Rosati, and continue walking. Rocca Minore will be on your right-hand side. This route is a pleasant walk through the historical parts of Assisi and should take about 20-25 minutes.
