From the Basilica of Santa Chiara, head south on Via Santa Chiara towards Via Francesco di Giacomo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Paolo. Turn left onto Via San Paolo and continue walking. This will lead you to the main street, Via del Comune. Once you reach Via del Comune, turn right and follow the road as it curves. You'll soon see Piazza del Comune ahead. The square is a vibrant gathering place with historical buildings around it, including the Temple of Minerva.

If you are near the Assisi Cathedral, exit the Cathedral and head down Via San Rufino. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, and it will lead you directly into Piazza del Comune. You will see the large square and the impressive buildings surrounding it, including cafes and shops.
