From any of the Cinque Terre villages (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore), take a train to Santa Margherita Ligure. Trains run frequently, and the journey typically takes around 30-50 minutes depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Santa Margherita Ligure, exit the train station and head towards the bus stop located outside the station.

At the Santa Margherita Ligure bus stop, take bus line 82 towards Portofino. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the 'Portofino' sign at the front of the bus. The bus will drop you off at the main square in Portofino.

Once you arrive in Portofino, walk towards the waterfront, following the path along the harbor. Continue walking along the scenic path, and you will see signs pointing towards 'Faro di Portofino' (the Portofino Lighthouse). The walk from the village center to the lighthouse is about 30 minutes, and the trail offers stunning views of the coastline.
