If you are starting from the iconic Florence Cathedral (Duomo), head south on Via de' Cerretani. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. From there, turn left onto Via Strozzi, and follow it until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Via dei Pescioni, and then take the next left onto Via del Corso. Continue straight for a few blocks until you arrive at Piazza di San Lorenzo, located directly in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo.

Should you be near the Uffizi Gallery, exit the gallery and walk towards the Ponte Vecchio. Cross the bridge, then turn left onto Via Guicciardini. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza Santo Spirito, then take the first right onto Via di Santo Spirito. This will lead you to Piazza dei Pitti. From Piazza dei Pitti, head northeast on Via Romana, then turn right onto Via della Chiesa, and finally left onto Via dei Pescioni which will take you to Piazza di San Lorenzo.

If you are near the Accademia Gallery, exit and head northwest on Via Ricasoli. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Lorenzo. Turn left, and you will find yourself entering Piazza di San Lorenzo in just a few minutes, with the Basilica di San Lorenzo on your right.

For those using public transport, take bus line 1 from the nearest bus stop to your location. Get off at the 'Fiume' stop. From there, walk along Via degli Alfani, then turn right onto Via dei Servi.
