Getting There

Walking
Start from the Herculaneum Archaeological Site entrance. Head southeast toward Via dei Pini. Turn left onto Via dei Pini and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Resina. From there, turn right onto Corso Resina and walk for about 15 minutes. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. Once you reach the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri train station, you can take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri stop. Exit the train station and walk towards the main entrance of the Pompeii archaeological site. Continue straight until you reach Vicolo dei Vetti, where the House of the Vettii is located.

Public Transport
From Herculaneum, walk to the nearest Circumvesuviana train station, which is around a 10-minute walk from the archaeological site. Take the train towards Sorrento. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri stop. After exiting the station, walk straight ahead and follow the signs to the Pompeii archaeological site entrance. Once inside, proceed to Vicolo dei Vetti, which is a short walk away, where you will find the House of the Vettii.
