    From the center of Pompeii, head east on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn left onto Via dell'Abbondanza and walk straight until you reach the Pompeii archaeological site entrance. Once there, you can take the Circumvesuviana train towards Caserta. Disembark at the Caserta station, which is approximately a 40-minute ride. From the station, exit and walk north on Via Giuseppe Mazzini for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Carlo di Borbone, where the Royal Palace of Caserta is located.
