If you're starting from Piazza del Campo, head toward the narrow street called Via di Città. Walk straight along this street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via San Pietro. Turn left onto Via San Pietro and continue walking until you see the large square, Piazza del Duomo, on your right. Santa Maria della Scala will be located at the edge of this square, at the address: Piazza del Duomo, 1.

From the Siena Train Station (Stazione di Siena), exit the station and head towards the bus stop area. Take the bus line that goes towards the city center (Centro Storico). Get off at the stop named Piazza Gramsci. From there, walk straight towards the main street, Via di Città, and follow the previous instructions from Piazza del Campo to reach Santa Maria della Scala.

If you're at the Basilica di San Domenico, exit the basilica and walk down the hill on Via San Domenico. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Campo. From there, follow the directions given in the first option to reach Santa Maria della Scala.
