From the Ishigaki Bus Terminal, take any bus heading towards the city center. Alight at the 730 Crossing (730 Kousaten) bus stop. From there, walk east for about 5 minutes following the signs for Torinji Temple. Bus fare is approximately ¥200. A 1-day pass costs ￥1000.

A taxi from Ishigaki Airport to Gongendo Shrine costs approximately ¥3,000 and takes around 20-30 minutes. From the city center, a taxi ride is shorter and should cost around ¥500-¥1,000. Taxi fare starts at 500 yen.
