From Ishigaki Airport, head north. The drive to Hirakubozaki Lighthouse takes approximately 50 minutes. During peak season, arrive early to secure a spot.

Public Transport
Take the Azuma bus from the Ishigaki Bus Terminal or Ishigaki Airport to Hirakubozaki Lighthouse. The bus ride from the airport costs ¥980. There are only three buses per day, so check the timetable in advance. From where the bus drops you off, it's a 20-minute walk to the lighthouse. A one-day bus pass costs ¥1000, which may be worthwhile if you plan to return by bus.
