    From Ishigaki City or Ishigaki Airport, take Route 79 along the coast to Cape Oganzaki. The drive from the city center takes about 30 minutes, and from the airport, about 35 minutes. There is a free parking lot near the lighthouse with space for about 15 cars. Using a GPS, input the address: Sakieda, Ishigaki-shi, Okinawa, or the MAPCODE: 956 699 738*18. Parking is free.

    From the Ishigaki Bus Terminal, take the Azuma Bus routes 2, 7, 8, or 9 towards Cape Oganzaki. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes to the Sakieda bus stop. From there, it is a 5 km (1-hour) walk to the lighthouse. A one-way bus fare is ¥650, so a one-day bus pass for ¥1000 may be worthwhile. Note that buses run approximately every hour.

    Taxis are available from Ishigaki City and Ishigaki Airport. The ride to Oganzaki Lighthouse takes approximately 30 minutes from the city center and 35 minutes from the airport.
