Walking
If you are starting from Kanazawa Station, exit the station and head west towards the main road. Walk straight along the main road for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the Kanazawa Castle Park entrance. Enter the park and enjoy a stroll through the beautiful gardens. Exit the park on the west side and continue walking straight until you reach the Nagamachi Samurai District. The museum is located at 1 Chome-9-3 Nagamachi, which is about a 5-minute walk from the entrance of the Nagamachi District.

From Kanazawa Station, take the Kanazawa Loop Bus (the green line) bound for 'Nagamachi.' The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes, and you should get off at the 'Nagamachi' bus stop. Once you exit the bus, walk down the street towards the Nagamachi Samurai District. The Kanazawa City Ashigaru Museum is located at 1 Chome-9-3 Nagamachi, about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.
