The bus will take you directly to the Shirakawa-go bus terminal, which is close to the entrance of the village.

Take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa Station to Takayama Station. The train ride takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Takayama Station, transfer to the Nohi Bus that goes to Shirakawa-go. The bus ride from Takayama to Shirakawa-go takes approximately 50 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the Shirakawa-go bus terminal.
