From Kyoto Station, take Bus No. 100 or 206 towards 'Higashiyama', and get off at 'Chion-in-mae' bus stop. The ride takes approximately 20-30 minutes. After getting off, walk straight for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Chionin Temple located at 400 Rinkacho, Higashiyama Ward.

From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line to 'Karasuma Oike' Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and get off at 'Higashiyama' Station. Exit the station and walk towards the north for about 15 minutes. Follow the signs to Chionin Temple, which is located on Rinkacho.
