    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #205 or #101. The bus will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Kamigamo Jinja' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes northeast to reach Kamigamo Shrine.

    Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Kitayama Station (around 25 minutes). Transfer to bus #4 at Kitayama Station and take it for about 15 minutes. Get off at 'Kamigamo Jinja' bus stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Kamigamo Shrine.

  • Bicycle

    If you choose to rent a bicycle, head north from Kyoto Station towards the Kamo River. Follow the river path north until you reach the intersection with Kamigamo Motoyama Street.
