Get off at the next stop, which is Umekoji-Kyotonishi Station. This journey takes approximately 3 minutes. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Kyoto Railway Museum, which is only a 5-minute walk from the station.

From Kyoto Station, you can also take a city bus. Look for the bus stop outside the station, and take bus number 26 or 28. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the 'Kankijicho' stop. From there, walk towards the west for about 5 minutes, and you will see the Kyoto Railway Museum.

If you are staying in the nearby areas of Shimogyo Ward, you can walk to the Kyoto Railway Museum. From your location, head towards Kankijicho Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Umekoji Park. The museum will be located just to the north of the park entrance.
