Start by taking the Kyoto City Bus from Kyoto Station. Board bus number 28, which will take you directly to the Nisonin Temple stop. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Nisonin Temple stop, disembark and follow the signs directing you to the temple, which is just a short 5-minute walk away. You will see the entrance gate as you approach.

If you are staying in the Arashiyama area, you can walk to Nisonin Temple. From the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, head towards the Togetsukyo Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue on the main road. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will see signs for Nisonin Temple. Follow the signs to the temple, which is located on a hill and offers a peaceful environment.

Train and Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line to Saga-Arashiyama Station (approximately 15 minutes). Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and transfer to the Kyoto City Bus. Take bus number 28 towards Nisonin Temple. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. After getting off at the Nisonin Temple stop, simply follow the signs to the temple, which is a 5-minute walk away.
