Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the JR San-in Line (also known as the JR Sagano Line) towards Saga-Arashiyama. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at Saga-Arashiyama Station. After exiting the station, turn right and walk towards the main road. You will see the bus stop for Kyoto City Bus. Take Bus No. 28 towards 'Katsura Rikyu' and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Okochi Sanso' bus stop.

From the Okochi Sanso bus stop, walk along the path leading to the entrance of Okochi Sanso Garden. The entrance is approximately a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs for Okochi Sanso Garden, and you will soon arrive at the entrance.
