From Kyoto Station, take the city bus number 100 or 206. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the Kiyomizu-dera bus stop. Once you exit the bus, follow the signs to Kiyomizu-dera temple. After a short walk, you will reach the entrance of Kiyomizu-dera. Sannenzaka is located just a few minutes' walk downhill from the temple.

From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line to Tofukuji Station. Transfer to the Keihan Main Line and get off at Kiyomizu-Gojo Station. From the station, take a bus or walk east towards Kiyomizu-dera. Sannenzaka is located downhill from Kiyomizu-dera, making it an easy walk once you arrive.
