Public Transport
Start at Kyoto Station. Take the JR Nara Line towards Nara and get off at Tofukuji Station (this is a 3-stop journey, approximately 5 minutes). From Tofukuji Station, exit and head to the bus stop. Take the Kyoto City Bus (number 100 or 206) towards Yamashina and get off at the Zushiokukacho bus stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes east to Shogunzuka Mound, which is located at 28 Zushiokukachocho, Yamashina Ward.

Walking
If you are near the Gion area, you can walk to Shogunzuka Mound. Head east on Shijo Avenue, then turn right onto Higashiyama Street. Continue walking until you reach Tofuku-ji Temple, then follow the signs towards the Kiyomizu-dera area. After passing Kiyomizu-dera, continue on the path that leads to the hill; Shogunzuka Mound is about a 30-minute walk from Gion. Make sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way!
