    From Kyoto Station, take the bus number 206 heading towards 'Kurama Onsen'. After approximately 20 minutes, get off at 'Higashiyama Sanjo'. From the bus stop, walk east along Sanjo Street for about 10 minutes until you reach Awadaguchi Sanjobocho. Turn left onto Awadaguchi Sanjobocho, and Shōrenin Temple will be on your right.

    Take the Karasuma Line from Kyoto Station to Karasuma Oike Station. Transfer to the Tozai Line and head to Higashiyama Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and walk east on Sanjo Street for about 15 minutes. As you walk, you'll pass through the beautiful streets of Higashiyama. When you reach Awadaguchi Sanjobocho, turn left, and you will see Shōrenin Temple on your right.
