    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Disembark at Nara Station. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal.

    At Nara Station, take bus number 97 or 100 from the bus terminal. These buses will take you directly to Todai-ji Museum. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the 'Daibutsuden' (Great Buddha Hall) stop. From there, follow the signs to Todai-ji Museum, which is located within the Todai-ji Temple complex.

  • Walking

    If you prefer to walk from Nara Station, it will take you approximately 30-40 minutes. Exit Nara Station and head south on Sanjo Street. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Nara Park. Walk through the park, enjoying the sights and deer, and follow the signs to Todai-ji Temple. The museum is located next to the Great Buddha Hall within the complex.
