If you are starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Kokusaikaikan. Get off at Shijo Station (approximately 10 minutes). Transfer to the Hankyu Kyoto Line and take a train to Kawaramachi Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Kawaramachi Station, exit onto Shijo Street and walk east towards the Kamo River. Cross the river via the Shijo Bridge and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Gion Corner. Turn left onto Hanamikoji Street and walk straight until you reach Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple, which is located at 390 Kinencho, Higashiyama Ward.

If you are staying in the Gion area, Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple is a short walk away. Head south on Hanamikoji Street until you reach the intersection with Kinencho. Turn right, and you will find Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple on your left. The walk should take about 10 minutes.

From Kyoto Station, take bus number 206 or 100 towards Gion. Get off at the Gion bus stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from Yasaka Kōshin-dō Temple. Once you disembark, head east along Shijo Avenue, then turn left onto Hanamikoji Street and walk until you reach the temple at 390 Kinencho.
