Walking
If you are near Nara Station, exit the station and head northeast on Sanjo-dori Street. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Nara Park. Once you enter the park, follow the signs towards Kasuga Taisha Shrine. The museum is located just a short walk from the shrine, approximately 300 meters to the east.

From Nara Station, take the Nara Kotsu Bus (No. 70 or 72) and get off at the 'Kasuga Taisha' bus stop. The journey takes about 10 minutes. From the bus stop, follow the signs to Kasuga Taisha Shrine, which is a short walk away (approximately 5 minutes). The Kokuhoden Museum is adjacent to the shrine.

If you would like to rent a bicycle, there are rental shops near Nara Station. Rent a bicycle and head east on Sanjo-dori Street towards Nara Park.
