Walking
If you are starting from Nara Park, head towards the Todai-ji Great Buddha Hall (Daibutsuden). From the Great Buddha Hall, walk east towards the hill. You will see signs directing you to Nigatsu-do. The path is well-marked and takes about 10-15 minutes to walk. As you ascend, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding forest and city.

Public Transport
If you are near Nara Station, take the Kintetsu Nara Line to Kintetsu Nara Station. Exit the station and head towards Nara Park. Once in the park, follow the same walking directions towards Todai-ji Great Buddha Hall (Daibutsuden) and then to Nigatsu-do. The journey takes about 30 minutes in total.

Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Nara. After renting, head towards Nara Park. Ride towards the Todai-ji Great Buddha Hall (Daibutsuden), and then continue east to reach Nigatsu-do. The bike ride will take around 15-20 minutes. Parking is available near the entrance to Nigatsu-do.
