Car
If you are driving in Yakushima, head towards Miyanoura. From the Yakushima Airport, take Route 78 towards Anbo. Continue on Route 78 for approximately 15 km until you reach the Miyanoura area. Look for signs pointing to the Yakushima Sea Turtle Hall, which is located at 805-1 Miyanoura. There is parking available near the hall, but please be aware that it can get busy during peak tourist seasons. The drive should take around 30 minutes.

To reach Yakushima Sea Turtle Hall via public transportation, start at the Yakushima Bus Terminal located in Anbo. Take the local bus that goes to Miyanoura. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as the frequency may vary. When you arrive in Miyanoura, get off at the stop closest to the Sea Turtle Hall. The hall is a short walk from the bus stop, approximately 5 minutes away. The bus fare is around 500 yen.
